PARENTS in Acholi sub-region have called for the introduction of nursery schools in the internally displaced peoples’ (IDP) camps in the north.
The call was made on Saturday at a meeting to sensitise residents on protection of children, by the Gulu district probation office.
The parents said the Governments should introduce nursery schools so as to give a better foundation to the children.
“It is sad that due to a poor foundation our children do not cope with the education in primary level,†a parent said.
