Sabiti vows to fund Besigye bid

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) finance chief and Rukiga County MP, Jack Sabiiti, has said he will sell his property to contribute funds to Dr. Kiiza Besigye if he contests in the next presidential elections.

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) finance chief and Rukiga County MP, Jack Sabiiti, has said he will sell his property to contribute funds to Dr. Kiiza Besigye if he contests in the next presidential elections.
“We want to support this gentleman. Besigye is a focused leader,†Sabiiti told his constituents on a development mobilisation tour at Rwamucucu sub-county headquarters on Monday.
He said he had dedicated the rest of his life to the liberation of Uganda.
“Nobody can stop Besigye from returning home,†he said.
Besigye, the FDC interim chief, recently announced plans to return from exile in South Africa.
