THE belated City Tyres Super league final on September 14 between Police and SC Villa is likely to be shifted from Nakivubo to Namboole.

Police and Villa, who share Namboole as a home ground, have written to FUFA requesting for a change.

Kavuma Kabenge, who is in charge of competitions on the committee, said a meeting will soon be convened to decide on the matter. “The regulations say Nakivubo. But now that the two teams want a change, we shall have to meet and decide.”

The final initially scheduled for early this month, was postponed due the CECAFA championship which has just ended in Zanzibar.

Meanwhile, Mbarara visit Mehta stadium in Lugazi for a Kakungulu Cup date with Lugazi United today.
