City High School has said Swaibu Lukwago, who is on trial for alleged sodomy, is not their driver and has never been employed by the school.

The headmistress, Clare Nduhura, said the school driver was not in prison.

She added, “In the history of City High, the school has never employed a driver called Lukwago Swaibu.”

“There is only one City High School in Kampala, located in Kololo on Lugogo by-pass, Roscoe Road, not Ntinda,” a statement from the school read.

The complainant told Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate that Lukwago, 35, of Ntinda, a city suburb, was a driver at the school, where he was also a student.

Nduhura, however, said, “We may not dispute allegations that there is an affected student because of lack of empirical evidence.”

She said the school was hurt, disturbed and embarrassed by the reports.
