THE Government will tarmac the Arua to Juba road and extend the railway to Juba in Sudan to enhance the region’s transport connectivity.

Andruale Awuzu, the transport state minister, said this on Monday at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
“We are developing transport infrastructure throughout the region. Southern Sudan has started playing a big role in our economy.

“DR Congo is part of the Northern corridor and Kisangani is nearer to Mombasa than Kinshasa, so it could easily become part of the East African Community,” Awuzu (right) said.
