CONCERNED Parents Association (CPA) has given ox-ploughs and grinding mills worth sh23m to eight groups of formerly abducted children and other war-affected children in Gulu.
The CPA field officer, Anthony Kerwegi, said on Tuesday the donation was to enable the beneficiaries to start up income generating projects.

NGO register

GULU district has ordered fresh registration of all NGOs, CBOs and CSOs in the district.
The LC5 vice-chairman, Paul Ojok Kerubino, said some organisations in the district existed in name.

Nebbi park

Nebbi district is to benefit from the modern bus and taxi park being constructed on the Nebbi- Arua road. Town clerk Joseph Olore said the park will have 380 lock-up plots.
