<b>NAADS plan</b><br>THE National Agriculture Advisory Services (NAADS) has budgeted sh960m for 16 sub- counties in Lira district. The coordinator, Dr. Otim Ogong, told a workshop for NAADS coordinators at Pan Afric hotel on Saturday, that each sub-county would get sh60m.

40 sacked

FORTY civil servants in Yumbe district have been dismissed from their jobs in the recent restructuring exercise by the District Service Commission.
This was revealed by the acting chief administrative officer, Moses Dalili, on Tuesday.

Three dead

THREE passengers died instantly and two others sustained gun wounds when their vehicle was ambushed by rebels of the LRA in Pader district.
The rebels ambushed the vehicle travelling from Lira town to Adilang trading centre on Monday and set it ablaze at Ligi-Ligi, Adilang sub-county.
