“ONCE bitten, twice shy!†will be the theme for today’s clashes when the MTN basketball league playoff finals return to the YMCA courts this evening.
Sadolin Power meets Nkumba-Marines while A-1 Challenge tussle it out with Lady Bucks in game two of their best-of-five playoff series.
Power, who are coming off a game one 75-70 defeat by the Marines last Wednesday, will be cautious of their opponents who disorganised their offence last time as they look to even the series today.
In the women’s battle, A-1 Challenge also coming off a narrow 58-55 game one loss to Lady Bucks, is hoping to correct the past mistakes as they aim for victory in game two of the finals.
Elsewhere, Gulu-based Murchison Hawks host Livingstone in game one of their best-of-five series at the Caribbean basketball court in Gulu town.
Both teams have already earned promotion to next season’s Yello Max Conference but the battle to decide the Yello Go Conference champion remains open as both teams begin their playoff finals today.
