OPPOSITION politicians have lashed out at the NRM executive for opting to use secret ballot voting during its delegates’ conference, yet it was voted against in Parliament.

They said NRM was exercising double standards to protect its interests.

Miria Matembe said, “Where is the transparency and accountability NRM talks about, when it rubbished my minority report on secret ballot in Parliament? This is hypocricy and betrayal.”

FDC vice-president, Salaamu Musumba said it is not only double standards but confusion. “They sowed confusion in NRM and the country. They are just a lost group not worth our time. God created them for us to see,” she said.
