Shell sells Rwanda business

SHELL Public Limited Company has sold its Rwanda business, Shell Rwanda SARL, to Kenya Oil Company Limited (KENOL) in a move intended to deliver maximum value to shareholders.

SHELL Public Limited Company has sold its Rwanda business, Shell Rwanda SARL, to Kenya Oil Company Limited (KENOL) in a move intended to deliver maximum value to shareholders.
“Royal Dutch Shell announced it has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with KENOL relating to divestment of Shell Rwanda SARL, which operates a retail network of 17 sites, a fuel and lubricants business and a fuel storage depot under a long-term lease with government,” a report released by Ivan Kyayonka Shell Uganda’s managing director and country chairman said.
