RESIDENTS of Wanale Division in Mbale Municipality have petitioned the Electoral Commission (EC) to recall their representative on the district council
RESIDENTS of Wanale Division in Mbale Municipality have petitioned the Electoral Commission (EC) to recall their representative on the district council.
About 1,750 of the division’s 4,000 voters signed the petition to recall councillor Vincent Magombe, accusing him of failure to consult them on key issues discussed in the council, among others.
The voters cited his participation in the recent petition to unseat the LC5 chairperson, Bernard Mujasi as such an issue.
