Once again, Children’s Vision is glad to announce the results of the Christmas Jumbo Puzzle and Quiz.
Unlike previous years, this years participation was not very good.

We got only 58 entries for the puzzle and 146 for the Christmas Quiz. However we would like to thank all those children who participated and urge those who may have failed to or forgotten to hand in their entries by January 18, 2004 (the deadline) to do so next time.

In the puzzle, 28 children scored 100%, four scored 99% and 23 children scored between 90 and 98. Only three scored the lowest mark of 80%. In the quiz, only two children got 100% and three others got 99%. 116 children scored between 90% and 98%. Twenty two children got between 80 and 89. One child scored 79%, another 74% and another 72%. As usually a draw was held to determine entries for the first second and third places.

In the quiz:
Rachael Nakkazi of Bugolo Junior School came first.

Amanda Namayo of telephone number 077623819 came second.
Sharon Pearl Kengaju of St Agnes Primary School came third.

In the puzzle: Rosette Kabugho of White Angels Primary school won the first prize.

Stanley Mukasa of Bertina Primary School Nazziba came second.
The third place went to Moses Othin of telephone number 077625992.

Congratulations, please come for your prize on Friday, January 30, from the New Vision head office on 3rd Street Industrial area, at 3.00pm. If you are unable to, then your parent or guardian can come or send someone with a letter from you authorising them to pick the prize on your behalf and a report card.
