FEDERATION of Uganda Football Association has now sought for the services of Police to rescue the Cranes bus, which was sold to Top TV at sh6m. FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda yesterday confirmed that the move had been made after FUFA vice chairman Godfrey Kwizera failed to comeback and brief the executive about the new developments.

HOCKEY: No transfers
THE 2004 Hockey league will not partake in the player transfer window according to the Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) Organising secretary, Willy Mukasa. Mukasa noted that the association was still trying to revive the sport with the registered teams.

SOCCER: Mukula calls
State minister for Health Mike Mukula has decried Cranes absence from the ongoing Nations Cup. He called for a change in the way the game is managed. "Many government officials mobilised and traveled to Rwanda, Ghana but we were disappointed." Mukula said. He said Cranes were psychologically disorganized by changing their coach. Ends
