KAMPALA—Government has imported more than 120 million male condoms to reduce HIV/AIDS spread. The state minister for health, Mike Mukula recently said the high pregnancy rate in Uganda was a sign that people were having unprotected sex and that is why the ministry increased condom importation. He said that although government is to introduce free anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs), there is no reason to relax because the drugs do not cure AIDS.
