THE U-19 cricket World Cup was launched by Bangladesh prime minister Khaleda Zia at a spectacular opening ceremony on Tuesday.
The Uganda contingent, looking smart in their black blazers and grey trousers, received a warm reception from the crowd as they marched past the officials podium. Sixteen nations will compete.
After nearly two weeks in chilly India the team have now acclimatised to the pleasant temperatures of 25C and flew to their base in Chittagong last night to face England, South Africa and Nepal.
