THE people of northern Uganda should be proud of their ethnicity, the archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Henry Orombi, has said.
He said inspite of the continued suffering caused by Lord's Resistance Army rebels, “We owe no one anything about coming from the north, we should celebrate being northerners.
“We did not ask for it so we should not be blamed. Every beginning has an end. Time is coming when we shall smile again,” he said. Orombi was speaking at a party organised for him by the people of northern Uganda at Nile hotel gardens, recently.
He urged residents in the north to always help those in need saying such friendship could build a nation.
