KYENJOJO resident district commissioner Al hajj Abdu Nsereko has called for the sensitisation of people on the land laws to halt the land wrangles in the district.

He said the current land wrangles in Kyaka were a result of departing Rwandese refugees from Kyaka II refugee camp, who hoodwink local people and sell them crop gardens planted on government land.

“When the refugees sell their crops on the settlement land, the local residents think that they have also bought the land and then start claiming ownership to the land,” he said.
