LUWEERO chairman Hajji Abdul Nadduli has said Baganda risk compromising their cherished federo system if President Yoweri Museveni does not get a third term.

He said the multipartists who are promising federo are merely using it to win sympathy in Buganda, ‘but have no political will to implement the system’.

Speaking in Butuntumula sub-county on Thursday, Nadduli said it was only Museveni who has the political will to grant Buganda federo.

He said the multipartists are merely exciting people. “If they are meaning what they are telling the people, let them put it in writing so that they have a binding agreement with the people of Buganda to give them federo”, Nadduli said.

Nadduli was on a tour of Butuntumula sub-county. He said the multipartists were hypocrites.

He warned Baganda to deal with them carefully to avoid being used.
He accused the multipartyists of removing federo in the 1960s.
