EMPLOYEES of Standard Chartered Bank on Thursday donated relief items to thousands of people affected by the insurgency in northern Uganda.
The donation worth over sh3m was channelled through the Uganda Red Cross.
David Cutting, the Bank’s managing director, said they were specifically touched by the recent attack in Barlonyo in Lira district in which over 200 people were massacred by the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels (LRA).
