THE last team to beat SC Villa on the domestic front was Express FC in July last year. Villa has since maintained its unbeaten run and are currently enjoying their status as Top Radio Super League table leaders following 11 victories this season.

Their pursuit for league glory continues at Namboole today when they encounter fourth placed Mityana Utoda.
Villa’s forwards have risen at important occasions and Utoda’s defence manned by Hussein Kato and Moses Sewanyana will have to be at its best to contain the Jogoos.

Elsewhere, KCC FC returns from a one-week league hibernation with clear intentions of making ground on current table leaders Villa.
Mbale tactician Ali Bizimungu, who is about a month old at Heroes, trounced Iganga 3-0 in his first game as coach and is confident that his team will take advantage of the home ground to give KCC a run for their money.

Bizimungu will look to youthful strikers Meddie Kagere and Geoffrey Massa for goals with roving Ronald Walusimbi and Edward Nyongesa switching between either flanks in Heroes attack.
Elsewhere, Masaka LC host URA in Masaka while Top TV entertains Simba in a battle for mid-table supremacy at Nakivubo.

Meanwhile, FUFA has lifted a one year ban imposed by the National Football League Committee on two of the three Heroes’ players who had been accused of assaulting referee Liburd Masembe in a game against Express which was abandoned last season.
Striker Cedric Ssebunya and midfielder Ngolo Kambale were set free but goalkeeper Ahmed Taban will have to serve his one-year suspension.
