THE United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has warned that Sudanese refugees displaced by the Lord’s Resistance Army might starve if nothing is done about the food shortage.

THE United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has warned that Sudanese refugees displaced by the Lord’s Resistance Army might starve if nothing is done about the food shortage.
The UNHCR country spokesman, Denis Duncan, said in a statement on Tuesday that UNHCR, the World Food Programme and the UNDP officials were assessing the situation in the West Nile districts of Adjumani and Moyo.
He said tens of thousands of people were displaced over the last three months by rebels and that UN officials had been evacuated to Moyo.
