KENYAN Pokot rustlers have killed two villagers and raided over 100 head of cattle on separate attacks in Kabei sub-county.
Kapchorwa resident district commissioner Joseph Arwata recently told the district youth leaders that the rustlers attacked Riwo parish on April 10, and 13.
Arwata said they killed Alex Rongosi and Mzee Kambuya before retreating towards western Kenya.
He said none of the raided cattle were recovered.
Arwata said the rustlers were able to attack the villages successfully because of the weakness in the security framework.
He said the Government would soon contact the Kenyan government to discuss how to restrain their communities from terrorising Ugandans.
Arwata told the youth that it was culturally their duty to defend the area.
