NEBBI — The field coordinator of the Uganda Society for Disabled Children, Geoffrey Omollo, has called upon parents of children with disabilities to contribute to their rehabilitation. He told parents at a training workshop at Rajja Hall on Tuesday to accord disabled children the same treatment as other children.
MP urges
NEBBI — The Woman MP, Betty Udongo Pacutho, has urged district authorities to ensure that the perpetuators of the recent strike at Nyapeya College are prosecuted. She was speaking at the Global Campaign for Education week at Zumbo Primary School recently.
Council asked
NEBBI — Civil society organisations recently ended the Global Campaign for Education Week with a call on the district council to allocate more funds to the education sector so as to increase the number of children in school.
