PANDEMONIUM broke out in Bururuma trading centre in Bushenyi district as security operatives stormed a suspected cannibal witchdoctor’s shrine.

Bushenyi district Police commander, David Ochaka-Chom, on Sunday said three human skulls were found in the shrine belonging to Syffa Nabukenya.

He said the body of one of the residents, Enock Bangumya, in his 20s, was also found behind her shrine.

Bangumya had reportedly gone to Nabukenya’s shrine for treatment where she allegedly killed him, removed his penis, tongue and liver, before dumping his body behind the shrine.

Ochaka-Chom said security operatives mounted a surprise search of the shrine and her house where they found the three skulls.
The residents went on the rampage destroying Nabukenyas houses and banana plantations.

The incident comes after three suspects in Buyer, Mityana district were arrested with decomposing human bodies.
