Justice Akiiki Kiiza has sentenced Joseph Kamara to a six-year imprisonment for defiling a three-year-old girl in August 2001. Court heard that Kamara of Lugonjo in Entebbe was arrested after the child’s mother discovered its private parts had been bruised. Kamara allegedly enticed the child with sh1,000.

Court has remanded a housewife for allegedly poisoning her step children, killing one of them instantly. Sarah Naigaga, wife to William Nsubuga of Bwoole village allegedly committed the offence recently. The Police identified the deceased as Hassan Byereka, 4.
