CHELSEA professional player Joel Kitamirike arrived Sunday night and hours later began setting the pace at training at Mandela stadium, Namboole.
“Am ready. I just have to adjust to the weather to get to my best. The temperatures are so high and that makes my breathing hard at the moment,” said Kitamirike.

He assured the nation that he will play for his country of birth on Saturday against DR Congo, leaving FUFA with four days to sort his status since he is also a British national.
Earlier at the Airport, the defender turned down requests from his family to first go home before going to camp. He insisted he came to play football, and will visit them on Sunday after the game.

Before training at 10.00am and after, he gave coach Mike Mutebi several tips. “He has got that European organisation ability in him and that’s extremely important. He commands well and will be of good help in the aerial attack,” said Mutebi.

The 20-year-old defender also suggested the players diets change. He rejected what had been tabled for him and told of what players have to eat and not to eat,
Meanwhile, the professionals play the amateurs at Nakivubo tomorrow.
