MINISTERS Dr. Kisamba Mugerwa, for agriculture and Capt. Mike Mukula, state for health were on Saturday stranded at the newly- constructed Nakigoza health unit in Luweero, when its keys got lost.

They had been invited to open the unit but failed to perform the function.

The organisers reportedly failed to contact the custodian, who did not turn up.

The area chairman, Dominico Mugerwa, said, “I came to know about the ministers’ visit late in the evening, so there was no way I could to inform the person who was entrusted to keep the key.”

He said this amid jeers from the residents, who had gathered to witness the opening.

Kisamba ordered for the immediate opening of the unit, saying it was constructed by the government as one of the president’s 2001 election manifesto pledges to Luweero.
