The first national Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for development directory has been compiled and uploaded to the Internet by a local organisation, UgaBYTES.org.

The first national Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for development directory has been compiled and uploaded to the Internet by a local organisation, UgaBYTES.org.
The international ICT newsletter Balancing Act reported that the directory aimed at bolstering ICT in the country.
The report says the directory is meant to facilitate information sharing and development.
“The directory captures resource persons, ICT coordinators, projects and initiatives in the ICT sub-sector,” reads the report.
