JAZ Karim has agreed to comply with NCS demands for him to be more accountable to them. He has also accepted to forward to NCS information on what he wishes to send to Uganda before he sends the equipment as opposed to his former method.

Jaz originally argued that he was only accountable to the sports minister Okello Oryem.
Police club
POLICE is to venture in the pool league soon as part of enhanced sports development in the force. This was disclosed by the new Uganda Police sports officer ASP Abdu Kalule while inaugurating a pool club at Police Sports Club on Sunday. Kalule replaced the late Jackson Byamugabe.

MUK boss
MAKERERE University sports and games union has elected Anthony Mula as new chairman for the year 2004-2005. Stephen Akena from Nkrumah Hall will assist the new chairman. The executive members include Patricia Ndunga (secretary), Jackson Kavuma (equipment secretary) and Sande Bashaija (publicity secretary).

Kizito target
CRANES defender Nestroy Kizito who has been turning out for Srem FC in Serbia, is being sought by bigger European teams. “Nestroy is joining a club in the Champions’ League next season, but I can’t reveal details before his medical fitness is passed,” Villa manager Tushar Ruparelia said.
