A LOCAL Defence Unit personnel attached to Orum army detachment, Luciano Opio, recently shot his colleague dead over a woman, LDU personnel sources said.
Opio was arrested immediately and is in detention, awaiting trial by the Court Martial.
193m/- budget

Akokoro sub-county council has passed a sh193m budget estimate for 2004/5.
Reading the estimates recently, finance secretary Johnson Onapa said 65% was expected from local revenue sources.

Olwa was recently closing a training workshop for local leaders organised by the Gulu Uganda Human Right Commissioner at Apac Women Development Centre.
