STEPHEN Nsubuga took one of the three heats to win the third round of the National Motocross championship at Garuga on Sunday.

Nsubuga captured his maiden victory this season after national champion Arthur Blick took two heats but failed to finish one in which he flew over a two-meter hump and landed side-ways.
“I was going to sweep all heats but I made a small mistake that cost me much,” said Arthur, who will represent Uganda at the Africa Motocross championship in Tunisia July 23-25.

The motocross championship held together with the Marshals sprint was organised by Speedway Motorsport Club and Uganda Marshals Association.
International Air Ambulance, Alpha Dairy Products, Fire Masters and Nsibambi enterprises sponsored the event.
