Church Of Uganda Archbishop the Rt. Rev. Luke Henry Orombi has expressed concern over declining morality and corruption in the country and warned that justice, peace and freedom should not be sacrificed for short-lived gains.
Orombi made the comments in an Independence Day message issued on Friday.
He hailed the Govern-ment for trying to bring peace to all parts of the country.
“We thank our government for its commitment in bringing peace to all parts of this nation and we commend it for the amnesty that has seen many rebels surrender.
