THE Bishop of Busoga Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Michael Kyomya, has said modern music instruments in churches have attracted youngsters to God.
Kyomya was on Tuesday presiding over a confirmation ceremony for 175 students at Bishop Willis Core Primary Teachers College in Iganga district.
He said the youth enjoyed music from pianos and systems with loud speakers.
Kyomya urged parents not to scold children who have a keen interest in music, but use it to draw them closer to God.
He urged the youth to consider confirmation an important reunion with God, and not a mere Church ritual for them to fulfil.
