M7 uses ‘kyangwe’

It is official! We now know what President Yoweri Museveni uses to scrub himself down when he is in the shower. During his visit to Seattle, USA, the president told Ugandans at a dinner that whenever he travels abroad or on safari, his toilet bag has to include ekyangwe. He then went on to tell them that one product that should be sold to the mzungu market should be the byangwe. “At my hotel in Washington, there was ekyangwe made of sisal. Sometimes it is a sponge. You cannot use such things for bathing,” he said drawing cheers. As he made the remarks, at his side, Mama Janet smiled shyly.
