THE Police in Masindi district are hunting for Congolese boys who allegedly burnt the administration block of Kihungya Primary School on Wednesday, reports Martin Kaahwa.

Kihungya is located near Lake Albert in Biiso sub-county, where Congolese are said to have settled illegally.
“We saw a group of about 10 boys running before smoke emitted from the headmaster’s office,” said a P7 pupil, who lives near the school.
The fire, which started at about 11:00pm, destroyed school documents in the offices of the headmaster, his deputy and the clerk.

Sub-county LC3 chief Mugenyi Malitabu on Thursday decried the act and blamed the Congolese for allegedly terrorising the sub-county.
“This has been one of the best schools in this sub-county,” he said.
