SOUTH Africa coach Harry Shapiro has started a five-day working tour with Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) courtesy of ICC Africa manager Hoosain Ayob.

SOUTH Africa coach Harry Shapiro has started a five-day working tour with Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) courtesy of ICC Africa manager Hoosain Ayob. He will make periodic visits to Kampala as Uganda prepares for June’s Mini World Cup qualifiers, reports Ronnie Kintu.
The 61-year-old coach (right) is also a high performance technical analyst with the International Cricket Council (ICC).
UCA chairman Latimer Mukasa said, “We aim to give the national team the best preparations ahead of the mini World Cup and we are glad Ayob joined by facilitating Harry’s visit”.
Meanwhile, U-19 coach Andrew Meya returned is back from South Africa where he attended an ICC course.
