I’m a director, not Salim Saleh’s aide!

SIR— In your lead story on Thursday, you identified me as an aide to Lt-Gen Salim Saleh despite the fact that I stated clearly that I was not. I am the director of the Pan Africakan Centre for Strategic and International Studies. Lt-Gen Salim Saleh is an official of the Pan-African Centre and he asked me to represent him at the press conference and gave me all the details of the situation. He is not the first person we have represented in conflict resolution.
I am not an aide to Lt-Gen Salim Saleh.
