IBF junior middleweight champion Kassim “The Dream” Ouma will have revenge on his mind, when he makes his title defense against WBC number one contender Kofi Jantuah of Ghana on January 29 in New Jersey.

The Ugandan pugilist makes his first defense against the Ghanaian at the Boardwalk Hall,Atlantic City in New Jersey.

Ouma, will be seeking a revenge over the West African who beat his compatriot Robert Kamya in a non title fight last year.

The Florida based champion was a unanimous points winner in October over American Verno Phillips to claim the 154 pound division in the International Boxing Federation and has been taunted to unify the 154 division with a fight with WBC and WBC Super welterweight champion Winky Wright later in the year.

However popular American promoter Don King is in talks to see Wright fight with Puerto Rican comeback King Felix Trinidad.

Jantuah will become the second African to fight Ouma having knocked out Congolese Alex Bunema in 2000.

Ouma is 20-1-1(13 KOs) while Jantuah is 28-1-0(18 KOs).

Talk in the boxing corridors has it that the Ugandan pugilist is gunning for a big pay cheque fight with super welterweight WBO champion Daniel Santos of Puerto Rico next year to unify the two divisions in the IBF and WBO before going for a mega fight against the winner between American Ronald “ Winky” Wright and Puerto Rican Felix “Tito” Trinidad.
