There was no better opportunity than at the Palm Resort Beach, Entebbe for Kabaka Ronald Mutebi to tap tourists for Uganda’s rich but unexploited tourism sector, reports Lillian Nalumansi. “The harvest is rich out there in Uganda but the harvesters are few. Help us with the harvesting of our resources. I can assure you that we shall all be beneficiaries of the harvest,” was his call to delegates in Entebbe to take home. The delegates from Africa and Europe are attending a four-day conference on, ‘Constitutionalism and Good Governance’ at the Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel in Entebbe. “Culture, language, music, dance and drama, art, social and political institutions are all expositions of cultural heritage and we in Buganda are very proud of them. “We have done what we can to propagate our culture beyond Uganda and Africa and would like to request our guests from Europe to go back and encourage their friends to savour more of our culture,” the Kabaka, who was chief guest at the cultural gala, hosted at the Palm Resort Beach in Entebbe said on Tuesday night.
