Mbarara Police have retrieved four corpses from different places in the district.This brings the murder toll to about 22 people in the last three months.

By Vision ReporterMbarara Police have retrieved four corpses from different places in the district.This brings the murder toll to about 22 people in the last three months.The Mbarara Central Police Station criminal investigations officer, Jonathan Edoku, on Tuesday told journalists that one body was found in Isingiro, two in Nyabushozi and another in Kashari. He said a decomposing body of a woman only identified as Musiime, a grand-daughter of Mzee Bukoko, of Sheema county, Bushenyi district, was recently found in a farm in Nyantungo village, Kashari. “Musiime’s head was chopped off and it was lying next to its body with a bag which contained her belongings,” Edoku said.He said Musiime was reportedly married to a man only identified as Dona, a driver at Ruhengyere Field Station. Edoku said her body was still unclaimed in the mortuary of Mbarara University Teaching Hospital.He also said two men identified as Raban Kabareeba and Naboth Nsubuga were killed with their dog. Edoku said the two were reportedly shot dead by game rangers as they were poaching animals in Lake Mburo National Park in Nyabushozi county. They were reportedly found carrying meat of wild animals on their bicycles.
