Over 800 students of Kololo High School have been displaced after the school premises on Kololo hill were repossessed by the Agha Khan Foundation, reports Josephine Maseruka. The school has shifted to Plot 73 Kira Road opposite the Kamwokya market in a tiny building which the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, the founding body, is renting. In an attempt to pursue their academics, the students seem to have accepted their plight in the new squeezed environment away from the spacious storied former campus repossessed in 1992.The Headmaster of the school, Hajji Saka Kamoga, on Tuesday said the Agha Khan Foundation had given them ample notice to vacate since 1997 “and we are very grateful to the Foundation.”Ends
