By James Bakama and Nicholas KajobaEXPRESS striker Hassan Mubiru has warned Kasese Town Council to travel to Nakivubo today expecting a beating.“Whether they like it or not, it is a match we have to win,” vowed Mubiru in what he described as a Nile Special Super league whipping where he will have at least a goal. The uncompromising attitude stems from a poor start in the league by the reds. Express were forced to a 1-all draw by Police. That Express are also yet to win a local match since their East Africa Hedex Cup victory, should be more cause for trouble to the western border team.Express casually approached their previous match and paid dearly by nearly being ambushed by the policemen. Today’s match will also serve as an Africa Cup Winners’ Cup build-up for Express against Egyptian side El-Mahella next Saturday. Express went into residential training last week with two training sessions a day.It is however from such over confidence that Kasese almost shocked Police. Paul Hasule’s side travelled to the western border town expecting an easy win only to be engaged in a nail biting encounter that ended 2-2.The spotlight elsewhere will be on Bugembe where Iganga is supposed to host Mbale Heroes. The latter has threatened not to honour the match but National Football League Committee has insisted that they have to play.Heroes, ironically regarded as the most organised side before the league’s kick-off, have since losing at home to Mbarara been embroiled in administrative wrangles.Saturday’s other match will be between SCOUL and Mbarara. SCOUL coach Leo Adraa will be searching for his first goal after two fruitless draws to URA Lyantonde and Police.ends
