Buikwe South Feeder Road Re-Opened

By Martin KiizaA sh20m feeder road network funded by the European Union was recently opened in Buikwe south, Mukono district.The six-month project was jointly supported by the Greek government under the ‘European Respective’, an International NGO in Athens.The Uganda Association for Social Economic Progress implemented the project.Ngogwe sub-county LC3 chairperson Richard Majwega said the 30-kilometer road will link up with most of the landing sites in the district. He said the road will boost commercial activities in the district especially in the fishing industry.Ends
