By James BakamaTHE Nile Special Super league will this week provide one of those rare moments when the focus shifts to traditional mid table teams.Commanding the spotlight will be Tuesday’s Police versus Maji encounter and the Simba game against Iganga the next day.Police, which so far boasts of the most attractive soccer, will be out to prove that they can offer something more substantive than being flashy. One win and five draws is all Paul Hasule’s side has to show from eight outings. In Maji, Police will be up against a wounded team that suffered a 4-0 beating by SC Villa. The Simba encounter against Iganga also has all the markings of an explosive clash. Simba will be buoyed by a recent away win over Mbale Heroes. Mike Mutebi’s side showed rare resilience by grabbing a winner in Mbale in the dying minutes. But Iganga should even be more confident if their recent win over KCC is anything to go by. The eastern team humbled the favourites to their first loss of the season.Masaka and Military will also be in action tomorrow against Arua Garage and URA Lyantonde respectively. Thursday will have champions SC Villa against Mbale Heroes at Namboole. ends
