Danida Supports Sembabule

DANIDA, a Danish NGO, has donated sh116m to Sembabule to construct an office building and houses to accommodate children with disabilities and workers, reports Ali Mambule.This was announced by Mrs. Jovina Mwebaze of Educational Assessment and Research Services (EARS) at the district headquarters on Tuesday.She said Danida had in the past ceased aiding Sembabule but had recently revisited its decision and accepted to provide the money. She warned parents against preventing their children from participating in public activities, saying this was hindering such children from getting the necessary assistance from donors.Mwebaze urged parents to educate their children as they could become important personalities.She advised parents not to torture children but to handle them with care.Ends
