BUNDIBUGYO and Soroti civil societies have formed a joint venture to fight corruption in their districts, reports Kenneth Otim.

BUNDIBUGYO and Soroti civil societies have formed a joint venture to fight corruption in their districts, reports Kenneth Otim.Speaking during a visit to Soroti, the chairman of Bundibugyo district forum, the Rev. Geoffrey Kyomuhendo, urged Soroti district forum to assist Bundibugyo in uplifting its civil society.“The civil society in Bundibugyo is still young compared to that of Soroti. However, after this venture we shall be disturbing you very much to come to Bundibugyo and assist us,” Kyomuhendo said.He urged districts to work with NGOs to fight corruption in society. “If fighting corruption becomes a goal for the district and civil society, there will be vibrant prosperity and harmony between the two,” he said. The Bundibugyo civil society was on a study tour of how the civil society works with the Government. Ends
