SECURITY personnel in Luweero have intensified vigilance in Nakaseke after unknown thugs claiming to be ADF rebels abducted a businessman on the Luweero-Ngoma road.

By Frederick Kiwanuka SECURITY personnel in Luweero have intensified vigilance in Nakaseke after unknown thugs claiming to be ADF rebels abducted a businessman on the Luweero-Ngoma road.Eremia Kitatta was abducted at 6:30am at Magoma village, eight miles on the Luweero-Ngoma road in Nakaseke. The captive’s relatives said he was riding a motorbike towards Luweero town .The motorbike and the helmet were abandoned at the scene of the abduction together with a handwritten note reading: “Ffe aba ADF ffe tumututte, temweraliikirira,” (it is us the ADF who have taken him, don’t be worried).Luweero RDC Mugisha Muwhezi on Thursday confirmed the abduction but ruled out any political motive, saying the assailants were mere robbers.
