UPDF failed a second half test, succumbing to Kenya’s National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) after an 11-all half time score in the East and Central Africa Handball Club Championship at Makerere yesterday.

UPDF failed a second half test, succumbing to Kenya’s National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) after an 11-all half time score in the East and Central Africa Handball Club Championship at Makerere yesterday.
UPDF failed to match the fast NCPB good passing and defending in the second half falling 34-18 at full time.
UPDF’s keeper Issa Kyeswa was outstanding but the poor defence saw NCPB’s Victor Isiro (8), Davis Odhiambo (6) and Paul Ochieng (4) shining.
UPDF’s Joseph Issamat (5), Grace Mulumba (4) and Moses Akena (3) reply could do little harm.
