GEORGE Kituku wants to extend his record to three wins at the Hot Loaf golf Open due this weekend.
Kituku, playing off handicap 3, leads over 60 golfers at the two-day event due in Kabale.
“This is one event I have put a lot of effort in, I can see another win coming,†Kituku told The New Vision on phone yesterday.
The Fort Portal player, also winner of the Uganda Golf Union (UGU) event in 1991, stepped up his training three weeks ago.
“I have enjoyed the training at my club course and I want the action to start,†the skilled player said.
Kituku’s colleagues in Fort Portal including the handicap 5 Frank Mugisha, Stephen Kasaija playing off scratch, will also be in Kabale.
Kasaija will be showing a bit of the form that earned him the Tanzania Open title last week. Ends
