WAKISO — Nakawa Court recently sentenced a driver to a fine of sh200,000 or six-month imprisonment for using a motor vehicle without a prescribed registration plate.

WAKISO — Nakawa Court recently sentenced a driver to a fine of sh200,000 or six-month imprisonment for using a motor vehicle without a prescribed registration plate. Grade One Magistrate Flavia Nassuna convicted Jaya Seelan, 48, an engineer with Roko Construction Unit, Kawempe, at his own plea of guilt to the charge. Court heard that Seelan committed the offence on November 22, at Kazinga on Jinja Road. He is said to have had no number plate at the back of his vehicle.
